Setting table properties in documents

You can set table properties such as the border style, border width, border color, column width, and row height in documents.


  1. Select the table for which you want to set properties.
  2. Click Table > Table Properties from the menu or right-click inside the table and select Table Properties from the menu. The Table Properties dialog box appears with the Basic tab displayed.
  3. In the Basic tab, select a predefined style or adjust the number of columns and rows in your table.
  4. In the Layout tab, select the grid type, color scheme, and enter the width and height of your table.
  5. In the Borders tab, select the line arrangement, border style, border width, and content spacing for your table.
  6. Click OK.
